Student Installation
Can you physically embody a community of design engineering undergraduate students?
This project attempted to better support undergraduate Design Engineering students by physically embodying their community.
Each student would manufacture and personalize an element upon arriving to the school, before adding it to the installation for the time that they are studying. By removing their element when they leave, the installation will have a fixed size and change year on year.
Element manufacture was incorporated within existing workshop inductions, which were redesigned for the purposes of this project.
